May I suggest using vinyl/plastic spray paint which is much thinner than normal spray paint and is commonly used for painting door trims/dashboard etc (although I most recently used some to paint my silver digital set-top box black to match the rest of my equipment  )

Just ordered a set of AD900's today.. was going to get the 700's but thought i'd step it up.. just hoping there everything I think there going to be. Little bit paranoid about spending $300 on a pair of headphones i've never listened to before

Oh well.. here's hoping listening to Tool - Lateralus is like hearing it for the first time :)

They are a few steps up from the 700, but you may need something better than onboard sound to get it out of them.

Well you should know soon enough, but just to ease your concerns, i think tool lateralus sounds very nice from AD900s. Tool really benefits from detail and (i hate to say it) soundstage, but also tend to be a little dark on the production side of things (especially earlier albums). I wouldn't call the AD900 a perfect tool listeners headphone for my likings, a bit more mids/upper mids to be ideal, but not sure there's anything in the price range that ticks all those boxes.

So in short, they sound sh!t hot :D

I find Tool really well recorded, especially for the genre. But then, I listen with my Grado RS2, so obviously, they're better   :p :p

Queensland deliveries take the longest. Standard time is generally between 5-10 working days
